Jana Eubank, is back with another fantastic HipKit Club layout using the May 2023 kits. This time, she's taking on the June 2023 mood board challenge posted on the HipKit Club Facebook group. 🎨🌼
Jana's layout is all about her naughty but adorable puppy, Ellie. 🐶💕 She's chosen a vibrant palette of blues and yellows, inspired by a photo of a circle of daisies from the mood board. She's using a paper called Daisy Chain as her background and a nude die called Crochet Texture to create a square with four die cuts. The result? A page bursting with subtle textures and colors! 🌸🌼
She's got some photos of Ellie, trimmed down to be 2 and 7/8 inches wide, and she's planning to mat them on white card stock with a 1/16 inch edge. Then, she'll double mat them on a dark yellow daisy paper. The photos will be slightly overlapped and skewed, with a strip of lilac-colored paper underneath. 📸🌈
Jana's title for this project is as colorful as the layout itself, with alphabet stickers and multi-colored foam stickers spelling out a tribute to her cute but naughty dog. She's also planning to add more floral designs around the page and title to draw attention to them. 🌺🌿
She's also got some cloud die cuts with stitching dots around the edge to add interest and texture to the page. The flat bottom of the clouds is a great touch because it doesn't obstruct anything below them. 🌤️🌥️
To finish off, she's adding embellishments like a daisy, branches, epoxy dots, and silver foam hearts. She's also added journaling about her pets and used a crochet texture die and cloud dies. The page was made using the May 2023 kit from the Hip Kit Club. 🎀💖
